what to use to stop corrosion between alum./steel ?
I'm not talking screw threads this is on a truck camper. The camper has an anodized aluminum skin. The new lift system that I'm going to install has a steel top plate aprox. 12 " deep x 48 " wide. This top plate screws to the structure of the camper that has an aluminum skin. The steel plate is primed/painted but I want more protection to be safe. I'm thinking rubber maybe 1/16th or so thick sandwhiched between the two what do you think ? I'm not even sure where to find rubber like that ? Or is there a better solution ? Whatever I go with will be subject ( somewhat ) to weather/UV but the majority of it will not. Suggestions ?
