Found an inexpensive deck lid grille for the car.
Looks like a early silver one that someone painted flat black.
Chipped up a little but can be restored to silver or repainted black.
A deck lid looks better with it's grille.
Using wood to prop up the lid, the underside was sanded and painted like the topside.
We are getting to the point soon where a color for the car has to be chosen.
It was originally a bright green, some spots remain on the car that shows this.
It has been sugested to paint the car flat dark grey like it is right now. Like an Outlaw Car.
Others have said to paint it the original color.
Still more suggestions to paint the classic white or silver with Martini stripes.
I am leaning toward Slate Grey, the color the Carrera was originally before I bought it.
Any other suggestions?
