Again, born/raised in ND, pheasant hunting was a grand time of year. A few seasons in a row we went down into So. Dakota and sometimes so many would take flight at once the sky would turn dark. Unreal!
My mom made a great pheasant stew. Yum.

I usually shot a 20 ga., my older brother was an ace  and he often shot a .410.
