2001 S exhaust system upgrade question
New Porsche owner here. My 2001 S is currently undergoing a top side overhaul due to a cracked head or blown gasket (I don't know which yet), and since I am committed I am considering upgrading the exhaust system too for a sporty sound and better performance. Any suggestions? I have been looking here in Pelican Parts at the Fabspeed 986 MAXFLO Exhaust muffler, and the Dansk 986 sport muffler system. Are these systems comparable? Can someone tell a learning novice what I should be taking into consideration in making my choice, and what the differences might be between these systems? I notice that Pelican offers a high performance exhaust kit for around $4K that includes headers, but that's a lot more than I want to spend right now. Thank you!
