I am the one who bought the 461. It went to my home in Canada and I've driven 8k miles already on top of original 27,xxx miles.
The car has been modified exactly the way I would have done it (except the gearbox which is now properly built and strengthened 915) and it is my favourite and proper Porsche. Next Thursday I am going for another long 4 day trip with my wife who loves this car also.
So, it is the last one built in 1978 for US. Does it have any practical significance?
