Learn and move on dude.
Actually I am considering selling my 928 GTS because I am having some issues with the local service. It was once a shop that if a used Porsche had a Service By sticker from them meant it got a premium price. Since then a couple of Mechanics have retired and the ownership has gone from the father to the son. A 928 owner in Tulsa takes his car to an independent in Dallas (the guy that rebuilt my crashed valve motor). The problem I have is finding the time to take the car to Dallas to get things fixed.

I would think there are 4 to 6 local GM dealerships. If you count Chevy there must be a dozen. Our local Porsche dealership has one mechanic I would trust with my 911 anytime I don't mind their price. Since he is the head mechanic he gets to pick and choose the cars to work on. Of course that means everyone comes to him with a problem they can't figure out.
I wish we had a Ed Mayo from Dallas class of shop locally. Just not a big enough market.
