That supply line info makes sense, good to know since the shocks are expensive. My problem is a little larger, I'm rebuilding an '05 Cayenne S with air susp, and my donor vehicle is an '05 S with springs. The better of the two has had its left rear susp torn out, and I'm swapping the entire rear susp assemblies. So..... I was hoping VW parts would be interchangeable, especially the shocks. At this point in the project it looks as if all I need to do is get 1 air shock, and the swap should be good. My next post is about removing the e-brake cables from the rear hubs.
