I never notice what other drivers are doing in their cars when I'm on the road.
I get a few "nice car"s here and there, mostly from young people.
One of the bad things about my car here (where there are not many other Porsches) is that EVERYONE knows who you are (Montpelier has about 8000 people). So you better try to not drive like a dick.
One of my coworkers asked me if it was true that the "fancy black car" belonged to me. I'm always quick to point out that my car was cheaper than a used Camry.
Everyone else up here drives a subaru or toyota. It's like the outback is the official state car. It doesn't make a lot of sense to have a car you can only drive for 5-6 months of the year here, so even though my car is cheaper, it's kind of a luxury for most people to have something they don't even use for a good chunk of the year.
On that note, I think I'll go for a drive. It's a nice day today and there's not going to be many for a few months soon.
