People in VT have been very friendly towards me. There's a mix of nice people and a-holes everywhere you go. YMMV.
When I see someone in a really nice newer 911 or Ferrari or something, I really wonder what they do for a living. And why can't I think of something as lucrative . Lucky sperm race winner or they really create that much value with what they do? Maybe someday that'll be me.

Back in the mid eighties I stopped at my bank and noticed a very nice '70s ish 308 GTB in light metallic blue parked outside. I stood there admiring it when the owner came out and I complimented him on his car (I was driving my first car at the time, a '68 Bug). He said he was just a "regular guy who worked at Edison" (Socal power company).
He also said something that has stuck with me ever since. He didn't make a whole lot of money but he also didn't drink, smoke, or gamble and was basically just wise with his money. That gorgeous car and that little nugget of info stuck with me forever in that you don't have to be mega wealthy to enjoy such a fine automobile.
