The 91s were the more durable truck compared to the 93 or 94 model. They just had a little less HP (SOHC). My old one, the 91, was bomb proof. it wouldn't die. Radiators and an alternator, that was it. People who take care of them occasionally see north of 300k on these trucks. Well, except for the known head gasket issues of a certain year trucks like mine. Still, I would buy one again in a heart beat. I know how you feel about sellers remorse. I have the latest gen 4 runner now. On paper, it is suppose to do what the LC will in dirt, but I sure do not feel it. Faster on road for sure.
