270K on the 91 Cruiser, a daily driver for my GF currently, and whoever else might need to use it. The drive line came out of one I rolled at 211K, also a 91. I can not fathom how the previous owner killed the motor in the roller I put the drive line in, but #5 rod knocked a hole in the side of the block.
I know the plugs haven't been changed in over 15 years, and nearly 170K miles. It still gets 10mpg in the city and 14 on the hwy. Alternator, water pump, starter and EFI relay are the only parts I have had to purchase. Mind you I have a wreck that still has many donor parts. Brake light switch is the latest donor part.
1993 was the introduction year for the 4.5L 1FZ motor that is prone to head gasket failure between cylinders 5&6.
The 4.2L 2F motor is bomb proof. We have a couple of those in the family as well.
Making a good guess, I'd say the 944 has close to 300K. The odometer quit working about 1996 with 118K on the clock. It is a DD, rod bearings changed in 2004, but the old ones showed nearly zero wear. Original alt, compressor, starter. New battery, but that's about it. Great car.
400K is quite a milestone. Congrats!
