My first car was a 61 Corvair Lakewood Wagon. A 16 year old Surfers dream. not a cool as a V-Dub Van but a lot lower key back in the Hippy Days as far as getting pulled over by the cops,( Just in case that was before your time they would pull you over at Noon and tell you they pulled you over because your license plate light was not working. True story it happened to me.)
I guess when you drive aircooled, it kinda just sticks with you. I
have had many aircooled cars including a Trabbi, several BMW 700's, Isettas 250,300,600 and 2-CV, numerous VW's.
Remember the only True water cooled motors are in Boats. Steve
