I drove over to Le Mans for the Classic a few years ago from Central Germany, in a rented station wagon that I camped in while there and on the trip to and back. I stayed in the Maison Blanc area just about 75 yards from the track. What a blast it was. I booked the tickets through a British company. I'll check tomorrow to see if I can find the name of the Co. For you.

Being there for the entire week end starting early fri was quite the endurance experience , but totally worth it.

Plan to take a folding chair so you can hang out at different spots around the track. I enjoyed most other areas more than my seat in the main grandstands. Just too noisy in the valley created by the concrete grandstands on both sides of the main straight to want to spend much time there.

There was such a huge turn out of vintage classic cars that turned up for this event, lots to see where every you look.
