2004 996 or 2006 997???
I am struggling between purchasing a 2004 911 with the serviceable IMS bearing and a 2006 911 with the non-serviceable larger internal IMS bearing.
What is the consensus on the reliability of the revised larger IMS bearings? A Porsche mechanic I spoke with says that the IMS bearings on the 2006 911 are reliable.
