I had C. diff a few years ago from having to take large doses of Flagyl and Cipro for an abscess due to Crohn's Disease. The doc put me on Vancomycin which is considered a last line antibiotic.

The C. diff was not fun. I also took probiotics which I do not know if they helped any.

I gladly would have eaten a poop pill if it would have done the job. For sure its a $hitty situation to be in.
