Does anyone here have direct knowledge of Ocean Isle Beach in NC?
I've read Trip Adviser reviews and Googled everything I can think of. It seems to be quiet - too quiet.

I'm headed that way in the morning to talk with a guy about some business interests, and I want to know if there is a chance in heck that the place can draw in tourists during the summer season. If so, we have time to position our business before then. If not, I need to walk away.

I can't really discuss the business itself right now... client confidentiality and all that bs. Most of you know what my business lines are anyway. Our target demographic is young adult to middle age, with adequate disposable income.

I'll drive around the area some and see what kind of shops, hotels, etc, exist - but I would appreciate any first hand reports.
