Acme Oyster House for chargrilled oysters. The locals I know say they are better than Felix's. Gallatoires is good too, expensive tho. I like Cafe du Mond for beignets and coffee in the morning but some people don't like beignets. Go to Jackson Square, get some pralines and walk around.
