But someone I know
has twice pulled a gun in extremely violent situations when the (certain person involved) thought they were going to get a near death beating. The other group of persons stopped dead in their tracks walked slowly backwards then ran. This is what guns are good for; stopping a situation getting out of control, not looking for a kill.
