Coming from a commerical truck background, I tend to use habits I have aquired and taught to other drivers over the years.
Both hands on the wheel, checking mirrors every 10 seconds, no tailgating, etc.
My seat is pretty much straight up versus "laid back" like I see other folk's.
I get a laugh out of people who are leaned over to the passenger's side with their left arm on the wheel at 12 or 1 o'clock. Good luck with controlling the vehicle should the they have to take evasive action. But, they DO look cool.
I do drive the 911 in a spirted fashion at times but mostly I am pretty conservative. I read Vic Elford's book on high performance driving and find that the advice he offers can apply whilst driving at normal speeds as well.
