I had a stock usa model 82 SC up to 136mph. There is a state trooper in Wyoming that can verify this fact......
BTW.....things come at you very quickly at that speed. Once your brain starts thinking about the $.09 cotter pin "locking" things into place on your front suspension you tend to slow down a bit!!!!
ps my speedo was reading between 137 -139.
