The Wedge is an amazing break .. one of the CA breaks that I've visited, but never had the opportunity to ride. But I did watch the birth of modern sand sliding take place there.

Although first conceived of by Hawaiians many, many years ago, the Californians took the Paipo to a whole new level. My wife & I watched a young Hawaiian girl ripping the shore break at Sandy Beach (Oahu) a few weeks ago .. amazing timing and talent .. we could have watched her for hours. Sorry, no pics ..
