Really its just gonna come down to how bad you want it to happen, yes there are issues off brand swapping anything, but with patience , research, and a little imagination its all do able... Side note I have a close friend with a mkII jetta vrt at 455 hp.... I agree fwd over 300 hp is terrifying, hopefully you decide to make it happen, there is a guy with a 993 vrt build here too, so don't forget there are plenty of roller.911s out there to build cheap too.
