Truth is most(if not all) of these cars are emotional buys. That is a huge driving factor when looking to get into one or looking at values. Hagerty's average price is merely a suggestion at what they think the market is. The prices are all over the place but they are rising(for how long who knows). Most cars out in the market will need something...how much? is really up to how perfect the buyer want to get her. Modding is a whole other world that can make you weak in the knees(ask me how I know

). These are great cars, built solid. Some may sell at a very high price but with very little fixes to do(or none) to make it perfect. Others will be in the lower price category but with many open items that will need tending too.
The days of $25k 930's are over(for the most part). That is not to say that every now and then a great deal can't be had. Due diligence and a good ppi is a must. It is really the buyers and sellers that determines the market....not a magazine.....just ask yourself "how bad do you want it"....lol
