There use to be a unwritten rule that neo-pros would listen to seasoned riders, especially the established riders or Hinault. I read that he once told Sean Yates to take those bloody sun glasses off so we can see your eyes. Sean did just that and he wasn't even on his team. Hinault is a bigger then life tough guy. The funniest photo was when he and team boss Cyrille Guimard came to the US to pick up LeMond. They (two goofy looking French guys) were both dressed in jeans tucked in cowboy boots, large belt buckle and that big cowboy hat. What were they thinking?
