We live in the Golden Age of Beer.

I go to a bike shop some afternoons. It has twelve taps. They have different beers every week. All local micro breweries. All interesting, creative, strong willed beers.

Three blocks from my house, there is a pub. It has sixteen taps, some local beers and a few English ales and stouts.

Next to the bike shop, a British pub has all the vital brews of the realm. My Guiness is here.

Within a mile radius of my house, there are twenty or so other bars and pubs. Only a few have "Bud" or "Miller".

Now, I'm also at the stage where I can't guzzle beer like I used to. But that's fine. I enjoy it like fine wine.

What are your favorite beers, or types of beer?

Lately my choice has been Cavatica Stout.
