Today with the help of my little brother I swapped the hatches on my two 944's (so the driveable one has the good hatch.) Now I get to try to restore an old hatch that's separating from the frame. Yay, fun. I plan to take the whole frame off, repaint it, and then glue it back on.
Or, you know, unload it for cheap on somebody who wants to do it themselves, since I don't actually need that hatch.
Also we cleaned the '84 (it looks a little better, but the paint is so bad...) and cleaned and polished the 924S, so the SRC is nice and shiny once again.
I took the center caps from the '84, painted them black, and stuck them in my black 928 wheels on the SRC. Looking good!
And ordered some stainless steel hatch pins.
