There are many versions or Drake toilets. I believe all Drake models are ADA toilets. That means the seat height are taller then standard. Someone taller folks likes the height, but a standard is what most people prefer unless you are 6'8". They all use very similar flushing design and patented by Total about 15 maybe 20 years ago. They won some type of award for it. I think the patent has expired a while back so everyone's copied it but the cheap knockoffs trapways aren't glazed. Little dirt will make the fill valve whistle. If you leave it alone it will go away but the little grit will wear the little rubber parts away. it will leak as it fills. PITA. Bleed the lines before final hook up does the trick.

I have no stock in Toto, but we have installed a bunch over the years in many baths we built. If the designers or owner spec out something other then Toto or other brands where we feel it will cause flushing troubles, we just have them sign a waver or have someone else other us do the installation. When the damn thing doesn't flush they always call and complain. PITA.
