American Standard Cadet 3 works pretty well and has a good flush rating. Under $200 at Home Depot. Easy DIY job.
Check your wax seal and make sure the flange matches up with the base of the toilet. They have an offset flange as well as a regular flange. If they don't match up, instant clog because only half of the opening is being used. Pull the toilet and measure the distance from the wall to the flange. Get the toilet that matches that. This explains it a little bit better:

Also, they make a reusable "wax" ring made out of foam. Prevents future blowouts from excess plunging. That can get messy.
Just as a side note, I am surprised that no one has thought of a "Clapper crapper." Stand up and clap, and away goes the ****.
