996 Turbos are awesome. 930s are very sweet and beautiful. However, if you take your 930 or 996TT to a Porsche gathering you are just one of many. As much flak as LS1 conversions get, they will stir more conversations and gather bigger crowds. The ugly ducklings of Koenig and others will also garner more interest, some of it of course negative, but none the less, gather a biggest crowd. A slow 356 bent window in ratty condition will also be a focal point of the gathering. A 951 turbo track ready with a simple 350 hp 4 cylinder, or a slightly moded 928 also break up the sameness and instigate interesting conversation.
