KC911, Yeah, my buddy down in the Keys had an outboard rebuilding business for years. The old 2 strokes were his bread and butter. Now it's probably 90% 4 stroke and he is ready to call it quits. When I am back home I can't believe how dominant Yamaha has become in the outboard market. When I was a kid it's was probably 60-70% Evenrude/Johnson, 20-25% Mercury and 5% OMC. Now Yamaha has things about wrapped up. I love my Suzuki and it was $5,000 cheaper than a Yamaha.
