Sorry should have been clear on what this came out of it, it came out of a car that had a 3.2 transplanted so might not necessarily be the speedometer that came from the car with the 3.2. Like I said, I'm not a speedometer expert so could very well could have originally come out of a '77 if the 7.77 is the date stamp and means July 1977.
