I saw a brief segment with Baez discussing the case and he said it was the other girl (who he is not representing) who is guilty of the allegations - not his client. He stated that both of them are being linked together with all the allegations. he could be right - the media doesn't really care about facts as much as the stink they raise.

Regarding a law enforcement presence in the media - the Daytona Beach police chief as of 2006 - Mike Chitwood, has a regular segment on a local AM station every Friday afternoon where he answers questions from callers and engages in discussion of local issues. He's very good at his job and represents law enforcement very well. I really enjoy those radio segments when I can hear them. There's no BS - just good info and interesting back stories you can't get from the regular media.
