I recall being in one of our work/storage rooms one day staring at drawers full of power cables, literally hundreds and hundreds of them.
One of my guys asks if there was a problem?
I said, "every new device comes with a power cord"
He said, yeah pretty much, and?
"Where are all the devices that these power cords came with?"
Of course the answer was obvious but it really makes an impression on how much hardware even a building of 500 goes through over the years.
