We alternate between my sisters neighborhood and my neighborhood. Although this is the second year in her neighborhood. One of my neighbors stands in the street dressed as a zombie with a running chainsaw. The kids were freaked out. Actually it is a part of a cul-de-sac and all the neighbors in that circle dress up as zombies and have pretty gruesome displays in their front yard.
In her neighborhood, there's one house that passes out full size candy bars and another that has one of those popcorn popper carts and you can smell the popcorn two blocks away. Sooooo good. We have a neighbor that passes out toothbrushes and toothpaste.
I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday. It's all about fun. And you can be as involved as you want of nothing. No stress. Christmas can be stressful. I like Christmas second because of the boys but if it was just me? Thanksgiving would be second. Slightly stressful but at the end of it, you stuff yourself silly and nap.
Then it would be Christmas.
Debating whether or not I should go to a sushi bar tonight after trick or treating with my boys. They are offering a cash prize and my friend thinks I can win with my sriracha costume.
