Porsche Crest My Porsche found me and now I am here.

Have you ever had a car find you, have outside forces handed you a amazing car on a platter? Well it just happen to me
I took my son to one of his after school lessons a week from this last Tuesday and had a hour to kill. So with my 8 year old daughter I made the way over to where my best friend works at a local foreign car place to see what kind of interesting cars he had at the time. I had not done this in a long time but I was board. Pulled in looked around and this grey Porsche stared at me, hmmmm. They buddy what's the deal with that. Oh that's a customers car here for light repair. Oh I said. I said is he selling it? My friend went to ask the shop owner and he said why yes he was. The shop owner really did not want to deal with it as the paint was faded in a few spots and he did not like grey. I have been looking at Rat Rod Porsche 912's as they were the closest thing I could afford, so looks were nothing to me. This 1982 Sc was in my eyes incredible. Not perfect as I don't want perfection I want a driver. Anyway I asked what the guy wanted for it he said 10k! I said what's wrong , he said nothing, take it for a ride. Drove my 8 year old and friend around the block and is had not been driven much in the last few years but it did pretty well for me. It was my first drive of a 911 and compared to my old 60's VW busses it was a rocket! I told my friend I want it and they said they will talk to the owner to see if he would come down on price? The guy was firm but did include some service and a little lower price! $9900! Got a loan at the local credit union and they were why such a low price what's wrong with it? nothing I said. That was a fast loan needless to say! Loan approved Halloween and picked up the car NOV1 (yesterday) ! Looks to just need a few things as I watched the guy change the oil and he told me some tricks on what to do for oil changes. I will be mostly working the car my self after today. Will need a cv joint as the boot is cracked and rear tires very soon. I am still shaking in disbelief as I never thought I could afford one of these amazing cars
