Wow! That's still there, too. My house was one block behind on Largo Drive, right on the Bay. The man who originally placed it there was named Harry Gowens and was the unofficial "mayor" of P-beach. He was into auto salvage for many years and had several interesting houses up and down Santa Rosa Island including this one. His A-frame examples were the most prominent although I think all but one now has been destroyed by one of the several hurricanes which devastated the island over the last few decades.
That was a great place to grow up.
