I remember when I was a kid back in the 70s. We would take family trips and on the freeway there were signals that the truckers used for changing lanes, etc.... I also remember back then and ever more recently that trucks would mostly stay in the right lanes with very little passing or times when trucks would block 2 or 3 lanes of traffic while one passed another at a snails pace. It's not like that these days. It's not uncommon for my to see semis doing all sorts of silly things that I wouldn't expect a "professional" driver to do.
