This appears to be a fairly solid straight car - that said Techweenie I think your vague observation is right on and can be supported further -
how about no title or reg - bill of sale only ? who really owns the car - buyer might never really own it.
rust bubbling at the rt rear corner of the rear window certainly some rot in the rear shelf and how far forward does it go?
front pan was replaced - what no pics to see the quality of the repair ?
no shots of the front trunk
"most" of the interior
carbs are seized - is there water in the motor?
Gauge bezels and rear trailing arms have a large amount of rust for a dry car.
Hope it really sold at that price because I have a 72 E and 73.5 T projects I would sell tomorrow if they would bring that kind of money.
