For a few years now, whenever I drive the Tristar, people gawk, point, take pictures, and wave. Every day. And when I park, they come over to talk. One day I realized, "Hey, this is what it's like to be famous."

Yesterday, I was in kind of a hurry at the mall. I parked and saw someone who had that "look" and started coming over. I wasn't in the mood, so I looked away and hurried off to avoid him.

Is it fun being famous? It's OK, but a bother at times. Anyone else "famous" because of a car they've owned?

Hey Charlie - great story but I don't get it. What famous person drove one of those? Are you saying because of that vehicle.....you were thought to be a particular famous person? Or just someone famous in general?
