Deer hunting in the Midwest is a necessity. Have to thin the herd. Deer are overpopulated.
They can be hunted and used as sustenance or left to rot along the side of the highway.
Rarely does a day go by that I don't see a mangled carcus along the medium or on the side of the road.
Bow hunting is getting more popular as hunting is now permitted in some suburbs - rifles are not allowed due to the distance a bullet can travel.
