I get bow season, I really do. But I only let one guy hunt my farm with a bow. He was the only one that said yes when I asked if he was willing to go to my range and show me he could handle his bow. Even my son hasn't qualified to hunt here with a bow...he hasn't shown the will do it.

Fifteen years later he still hunts here, sets up the stands every year and coordinates friends and family who want to hunt.

I qual everyone who hunts here, Black Powder, shotgun, etc. I watch how they treat their weapon, approach shooting and then accuracy. I know that sounds harsh but I don't charge anyone and this is my farm.

Everything dies, that's a fact. I just want it done well and they need to prove it. Bow hunting is a skill, more so than BP or slugs.
