Yep. If the Domestic Military wants to ruin your life, they can and will. There's always a way. As a subject, you need to accept the reality that you no longer have any real rights or recourse. Deal with it. Courts or no courts - assuming the courts are actually still objective (har-har) it doesn't matter. It doesn't take a conviction to ruin someone's life - only the will to do so and maybe an accusation at best.
