As described I would venture that its a mid $200k car all day long.
I have a 67s and track sales both private and public.
Many believe that a top level 67Ses will be valued the same as a similar conditioned 356 Speedsters...mid $300s within the next 12-18 months.
The price increase could happen much faster as it has with other similarly rare cars. Example being a Dino. 2 years ago one sold in the mid $300s. Many arm chair appraisers said that price was a flke never to be repeated. The next sale at auction for a similar car was in the same range...now, 2-ish years later a nice Dino is $450k-ish.
Cars to own now:
1) 89 and 94 Speedsters.
2) 997.2 GT3 RSes.
3) 67eses.
4) 560 SLs.
5) late 80s M3s
6) t25 VWs (Vanagons) Nuts, I know.
7) 89 930 Turbos. 89 has the 5 speed and is the best of breed.
and I personally think Alfas are going to make a come back in the US...but, I may be wrong with that call.
