The VIN #s look normal enough to me in those photos. What would possess you to give him a cash deposit without knowing exactly what you're buying or taking the car? You might be screwed if the car has been misrepresented.

This is a real cautionary tale for anyone reading it in the future. This guy is about the world champion when it comes to thieving scumbags but there are plenty of other small-time scumbags selling bad cars on the internet.
