Then I just bought a nice outdoor digital antenna and spliced it in where the cable used to come in the house. 30+ channels! 10 good ones.
For the amount I watch TV, which isn't a whole lot, it's great!
If you're a big sports watcher, it might not do it for you, but it doesn't bug me.

This is the direction I'm looking at too: antenna, Roku and Netflix.
Antenna TV will tell you what is available in your area and what type of antenna to use.
