I rediscovered vinyl about 2 years ago and absolutely love the sound. A lot of the music I listen to was recorded on analog equipment and just wanted to listen to it the way it was originally offered. I now have a record collection again. Fortunately I kept a few of my albums from back in the day and wish I would have kept a few more. A couple particular were a Muddy Waters album on Chess and a John Lee Hooker of some sort. I also lent a friend Buddy Guy Stone Crazy on Alligator and George Thorogood Move it on Over at least 25 years ago. I'd really like the Buddy Guy album back.

As far as a turntable,I've been using a Pro-Ject RPM 1.3 w/ upgraded cartridge and overall it sounds pretty nice. Unfortunately I threw away a Techniques turntable quite a few years ago. The next turntable I buy will be a higher end vintage turntable like ones sold by Vinyl Nirvana. I also plan on getting a tube amp.
