I had tons of vinyl until just a while ago - I looked at all of it, realized that I hadn't played any of it in years, so I digitized them, and then put them up on sleazbay...

Listening to them one last time was great - not only memories of when, who, where, but the sound of vinyl is very, very different than digital. There is this wonderful warmth that comes through on the vinyl.

Take good care of it if you have it - my vinyl covers always had a protective plastic sleeve on them, and they had nary a pop or scratch. Everyone who bought them were amazed at the pristine condition, and I got top dollar. What I found went for some real money were original movie soundtracks - especially some rare 1st edition Kubrick film soundtracks I had...

Sorry to see them go - but someone else can now enjoy them.
