Thanks a lot Alex - now I can't show my wife this thread with all of the awesome things I said about her
. We don't use the fireplace very often. The tv was on the other wall but just didn't work with our layout very well. With the tv over the fireplace, the closest seat to the tv is about 8 feet away and the other end of the couch is 12 feet away. I'll keep an eye out (bad pun, I know) for eye strain if/when we use the fireplace.
