Brake line replacement

Hi all,

911 newbie... I have a 1999 996 which has a bit of corrosion on the main brake line that runs along the car. I was looking to replace this old steel line with a copper nickel one.

Has anyone done this kind of replacement? Is it a big job? Is copper nickel a good choice?

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere before, but couldn't track it down. There are lots of replacements of the wheel arch brake lines. Unless there's a different name for this line, not sure if I'm searching for the right thing.

Thanks!

edit: I'm an idiot and can't spell brake.
