An interesting test stand is described on Type2.com in the "Sermons of Bob Hoover". It is a installation stand, assemble stand and test stand that was welded up by Bob. It even folds down and fits on the top of his bus.
P.S. Sorry Wayne to send people to type2.com, but Bob has been working on these engines for dog years and knows everything.
